Democrats work over the weekend.

It’s good to see some government work over the weekend - I know I’ve had my fair share of working weekends on my M-F 8-5 job.

The Healthcare Bill - they are still squabbling over this.  Mandatory enforcement.  Socialism, no matter what you call it or how you dress it.

Think of those poor folks, the folks who choose to be homeless (yes, for some it’s a “lifestyle choice”).  The homeless that won’t go on psychotropic drugs because they are afraid it will kill their essence.  The street kids who ran away from some bad situation and are now over the age of 18 but still don’t know how to navigate this adult world.

How are we going to enforce the Health Insurance Mandate on them?  They will get hit on their credit report?  They will be arrested for not having insurance?  Will they serve time in prison?  How will they enforce it with the illegal aliens?  Give them a hit on their stolen identity’s credit report?  Will it become a recorded judgment against them (er, the victim of identity theft)?

One of the most frustrating hurdles of filing a missing person report for an adult is that “an adult is allowed to not be found“. Not if the Democrats get their way.

I think I’m too ignorant for this.  I haven’t read it (the Health Care Reform Bill) so I can’t comment on it honestly - maybe everything I mentioned above has been addressed.  These are the thoughts I have when I go to bed.

I don’t disparage anyone for wanting “everyone” to get medical care, the proper medical care.  The poorest of the poor KNOW that if you walk into the Emergency Room in any hospital, by law, they have to treat you.

The hospitals know this - I genuinely believe this to be the #1 cause to our annual double digit increase in health insurance…(Soap box, please).  A hospital should run at a profit - how else would we cover the cost of our medical break thorough (treatment, machine, drug, insert miracle here).

As my eldest will text:  *Sigh*

Grumble, grumble, grumble.
